From Fathers to Sons: The Legacies and Stories behind Generations
A photo taken during our latest schedule for installation and commissioning in Europe was not just a proof of another routine service trip, but a reaffirmation of a legacy crafted over three generations, beginning with Zhiwei Bao’s grandfather back in the 1990s.
The family-owned business was passed to Yunlong Bao in 2000s, father of Zhiwei Bao. With more than 40 years of experience in packaging machinery, both in design and manufacturing, Yunlong Bao’s expertise is still the driving force to our transformation during the 3rd generation of our company. Back in the 2000s back to when he tooks over the family-owned business from his father, we were one of the precursors in the field of secondary packaging machines on the Chinese market, and was one of the very first Chinese companies offering cartoners and film overwarppers to either local and international market.

The 3rd Generation Sees More Essentialness of Innovation and Development
As Zhiwei Bao took charge of the business in 2021 after his return from Spain where he had his studies and works for 3+ years, the new concept and mindset imposed by him as the 3rd generation of the family-owned business is leading to a new road ahead where ÉLITER Packaging Machinery is reaching a new market positioning with our “Next-Generation” models developed during the recent years.
The road ahead is filled with endless possibility and challenges, just like the autobahns that pave the way through scenic landscapes, and is defined by clarity of purpose and the drive to exceed expectations, ensuring that every packaging challenge is met with robustness, flexibility, efficiency and innovative solutions.
